About the role

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU).

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care for adults with complex cardiac conditions.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses, intervening as necessary.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Document assessments and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Uphold compassionate care aligned with organizational values.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Preferred experience in cardiac, telemetry, or critical care nursing.
  • Strong assessment, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and clinical judgment skills.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, critical-thinking, and adaptability skills.
