About the role
Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care for adults with complex cardiac conditions.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses, intervening as necessary.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures with precision.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Uphold compassionate care aligned with organizational values.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Preferred experience in cardiac, telemetry, or critical care nursing.
- Strong assessment, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and clinical judgment skills.
- Effective communication, teamwork, critical-thinking, and adaptability skills.
