Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

About the Role

Provides professional nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
• Develop individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation and demonstrate professional accountability.
• Operate and troubleshoot medical equipment, perform bedside lab testing, and maintain safety protocols.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care, communicate effectively, and advocate for patients.
• Provide patient education tailored to age, cultural, and developmental needs, ensuring safety and understanding.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensure with current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum one year of RN experience in an acute setting preferred.
