About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Progressive Care unit, responsible for providing specialized patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Employing professional nursing practices to develop and coordinate individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Advocating for ethical, holistic care that respects patient autonomy, dignity, and beliefs.
- Fostering learning environments for patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ensuring safety by integrating evidence-based practices and addressing safety concerns.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development, practicing within legal and ethical standards, and promoting research-based practices.
- Leading and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, delegating tasks appropriately, and modeling professional behavior.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (within 90 days).
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
