About the Role
Provides direct patient care within a Behavioral Health unit focused on adult and geriatric mental health needs. The role requires adherence to facility policies and a focus on stabilization, recovery, and long-term wellness.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Participate in treatment team conferences
- Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions
- Evaluate patient responses to interventions
- Collaborate with the team to revise goals and interventions as needed
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse with a license from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school
