Registered Nurse - Adult Psychiatry - Multiple Shifts

Position Overview Provides direct patient care within a Behavioral Health unit focused on adult and geriatric mental health needs. Responsibilities include performing bio-psychosocial assessments, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, participating in treatment team conferences, and conducting or co-leading group therapy sessions. Evaluates patient responses to interventions and collaborates with the team to revise goals and interventions as needed. The role requires adherence to facility policies and a focus on stabilization, recovery, and long-term wellness. Qualifications & Skills Licensed Registered Nurse with a license from the Alabama Board of NursingBLS Provider certification within 1 month of hireDiploma from an accredited nursing schoolStrong assessment, care planning, and team collaboration skills Key Duties Perform initial and ongoing assessmentsDevelop and implement nursing care plansParticipate in treatment team conferencesLead or co-lead group therapy sessionsMonitor and revise care plans based on patient response
