Registered Nurse - Adult Psych - Multiple Shifts

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a behavioral health setting for adult and geriatric patients with mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Participate in treatment team conferences to coordinate care.
• Lead and co-facilitate group therapy sessions.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to set and adjust treatment goals based on patient progress.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school.

Skills

• Patient assessment and care planning.
• Participation in treatment planning and team collaboration.
• Group therapy facilitation.
• Evaluation and adjustment of nursing interventions based on patient response.
