Registered Nurse - Adult Psychiatry - Multiple Shifts

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in an adult behavioral health setting, focusing on stabilization, recovery, and wellness. Collaborates with treatment teams to develop and revise individualized care plans, conducts bio-psychosocial assessments, and leads group therapy sessions. Evaluates patient responses and adjusts nursing interventions accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments per nursing standards
• Participate in treatment planning and team conferences
• Implement nursing care plans and co-lead group therapy
• Monitor and revise patient care based on responses and changing needs

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse with current Alabama licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
