Registered Nurse - Adult Psychiatry - Multiple Shifts

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a Behavioral Health setting for adult and geriatric patients with mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments
• Develop and implement nursing care plans
• Participate in treatment team conferences
• Lead group therapy sessions
• Evaluate patient responses and collaborate with the team to adjust interventions accordingly

Requirements

• Valid nursing license from the Alabama Board of Nursing
• BLS certification within one month of hire
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program

Schedule
