Role Overview

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized treatment based on evidence-based practices. They uphold professional standards, comply with healthcare policies, and support performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-setting.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care while fostering teamwork and a respectful clinical environment.
• Support professional growth by completing ongoing education, mentoring colleagues, and participating in research and performance improvement activities.
• Develop protocols, optimize resource use, and contribute to achieving best practice outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience; direct patient care experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and proficiency with clinical technology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies.
