About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) on an Oncology unit, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on evidence-based standards.
• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring safe and individualized care while respecting cultural diversity.
• Participating in performance improvement, research activities, and protocol development to optimize patient outcomes.
• Mentoring and supporting professional development of staff and students.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
• License as a RN (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
• Educational background: Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure setting and utilize technology proficiently.
