About the role

Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care using evidence-based nursing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans
  • Collaborates with healthcare team
  • Monitors patient progress, and evaluates care effectiveness
  • Ensures safety, compliance, and quality improvement, while incorporating cost containment and technology
  • Provides direct patient care, delegates tasks, advocates for patients, and educates patients and families
  • Maintains documentation, adheres to regulatory standards, and participates in performance improvement activities

Qualifications

Requires an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), a valid RN license, and at least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/training.

Skills

Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and ability to collaborate effectively.

About the position

This is a non-management position reporting to a supervisor, working night shift, and based at a hospital facility.
