About the role
Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care using evidence-based nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Conducts assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans
- Collaborates with healthcare team
- Monitors patient progress, and evaluates care effectiveness
- Ensures safety, compliance, and quality improvement, while incorporating cost containment and technology
- Provides direct patient care, delegates tasks, advocates for patients, and educates patients and families
- Maintains documentation, adheres to regulatory standards, and participates in performance improvement activities
Qualifications
Requires an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), a valid RN license, and at least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/training.
