Registered Nurse - Acute Care, Medical/Surgical, Full-Time, Night

About the role

Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care by applying evidence-based nursing practices in a fast-paced environment. This is a non-management, night-shift role with no supervisory responsibilities, focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, quality, and cost-effective care.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and monitors care quality.
• Evaluates patient outcomes and ensures compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Educates patients and families, and advocates for their needs.
• Maintains accurate documentation.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and promotes safety.
• Performs duties within the scope of practice and adheres to licensure requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• One year of RN experience or equivalent residency/training.
• Current RN license.
