Pay
$4,562.00 – $5,694.00 per month ($54,744.00 – $68,328.00 annually).
Schedule
Full-time. May be assigned to work days, evenings, nights, and/or weekends.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or holds a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required.
- For driving-related positions: a valid driver’s license with no DUI, reckless driving, license suspension for moving violations, or more than four moving violations in the past five years.
About the role
Under general supervision, this working-level Registered Nurse position provides nursing care of average difficulty across settings such as clinics, hospitals, home care, or other health care facilities. Responsibilities include nursing assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care and procedures per physician orders and nursing protocol, including medication administration, side-effect evaluation, equipment and supply maintenance, drug and instrument tracking, basic life support, CPR, and emergency response.
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, collecting health history data from patients and families.
- Perform diagnostic tests on specimens to determine health status.
- Compare assessment data to established ranges to identify abnormalities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient goals and interventions, adjusting the plan of care as needed.
- Document and maintain patient health and medication records.
- Explain tests, procedures, and results to patients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Educate patients, families, groups, and others on health care plans.
