Regional Support Nurse

About the Role

The Regional Support Nurse (Dialysis Nurse Float) provides RN coverage across multiple markets, traveling as needed to cover staffing gaps, leaves, or emergencies. They supervise dialysis care, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, collaborate with healthcare teams, and assume a hands-on role in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
• Educate patients on renal disease, dialysis therapy, and related health concerns.
• Delegate tasks to dialysis technicians, supervise their work, and ensure safe dialysis delivery.
• Conduct patient assessments, document interventions, and evaluate responses.
• Ensure accurate documentation of care, lab results, and medication administration.
• Coordinate with physicians and team members to interpret data and adjust care plans.
• Collect lab specimens following DOT policies and review lab results promptly.
• Maintain safe operations during shifts, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements
