About the Role

The Regional Support Nurse (Dialysis Nurse Float) provides RN coverage across multiple markets, traveling as needed to fill staffing gaps. They supervise dialysis care, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dialysis technicians, delegate tasks, and ensure safe dialysis delivery.
• Conduct patient assessments, document interventions, and evaluate responses.
• Provide patient education on renal disease and dialysis therapy.
• Ensure accurate documentation in EMR, review lab results, and report critical values.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient condition.
• Maintain safe operations during shifts and collaborate with physicians and staff.

Requirements

• RN licensure with relevant clinical experience in dialysis care.
• Strong supervision, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to interpret lab results, document accurately, and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas to cover staffing needs.
