Essential Job Functions
- Maintain HRIS records, perform data entry, and compile reports from the system for analysis, compliance, or upon request
- Administer workers’ compensation claims: investigate new claims, ensure compliance with laws and policies, manage medical providers, case managers, and adjusters, authorize medical treatment, and facilitate communication between injured workers, HR, and supervisors
- Administer FMLA leaves, including tracking, documentation, and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Serve as initial point of contact for employee relations matters
- Assist in day-to-day office operations (greeting employees, answering requests, processing Personnel Action Forms, etc.)
- Assist HR Department in carrying out various employee programs (Health Fair, Holiday Party, Recognition Night, etc.)
- Special projects as assigned
- Other general HR duties as assigned
Working Conditions
- Mostly indoors and generally climate-controlled environment
- Will be exposed to noise, smoke, and odors
- Working with others and independently
