Territory Sales Manager (TSM)
General Description (major Areas Of Responsibility Of This Position)
- Improve customer and potential customer relationships
- Grow profit margin and sales value and volume with current customers
- Expand sales by obtaining and developing new customers within an assigned territory or market
- Support the development of the sales team
- Perform regular and accurate reporting to support sales planning and analysis activities
- Prepare visual presentations, written quotations and negotiations
- Record the successful processes and procedures required to carry out all functions
- May perform occasional deliveries to support the customer relationship
- May manage and replenish consignments
Minimum Qualifications
- Formal Training: AA Degree or equivalent; 3.0 or higher GPA preferred
- MVR with little to no safety concerns within the past 3 years
- Experience: Meeting the below KVAVs and Minimum 6 months working as a MIT with better than 80% of job description mastered, regular demonstration as a reliable trainer, and high success in profitable sales and customer retention, or Minimum 1 year working as a DS2 with better than 80% of job description mastered, regular demonstration as a reliable trainer, and high success in profitable sales and customer retention, or Minimum of 1 year experience in a battery-industry, outside sales capacity, with high success in profitable outside sales and customer retention within that position, or Minimum 3 years working in an outside sales capacity, with high success in profitable outside sales and customer retention within that position and ability to learn rapidly

Normal Hours: Commonly prior to 8 AM through after 5 PM, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends and extended travel
