About the role
The Regional Sales Operations Leader (RSOL) partners closely with the Regional CEO, Regional Practice Leaders, and local Practice Leaders to drive efficiency and consistency across the USI sales process, with a particular focus on the front end (GET).
This role is dedicated to improving prospect quality, assignment, engagement, and first appointment activity to support new business growth and producer success. The RSOL also collaborates with the national VP of Revenue Operations to implement best practices and optimize performance across the region.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Sales Support team, including Sales and Marketing Specialists (SMS), Sales Enablement Specialists (SES), and RFP Specialists (RFP), ensuring appropriate staffing and alignment to metrics.
- Oversee prospect strategy and assignment (U Match), making sure producers have the right volume and quality of opportunities by size, geography, and industry vertical.
- Guide prospect engagement efforts, including contact strategy, events, Executive Series follow-up, and Centers of Influence support.
- Monitor producer activity, effort, and first appointments; partner with Practice Leaders to address gaps and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with producers to resolve quality prospect and warming strategy issues.
- Ensure consistent execution of Engagement Day and other sales activity best practices across offices.
- Routinely review sales funnel metrics and sales tool utilization to identify gaps; work with leadership to implement improvements.
- Partner with Practice Leaders on rollout and adoption of new sales tools and enhancements.
- Continuously improve sales process efficiency by identifying issues and implementing solutions aligned with USI best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in insurance brokerage, carrier, or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams.
- Experience developing and executing sales or marketing strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Goal-oriented mindset.
