What You'll Do
- Develop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies that align with company objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to maximize performance and achieve growth targets.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships.
- Manage key customer accounts while expanding relationships within the dealer network.
- Establish annual sales goals and key performance objectives, ensuring successful execution and results.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and in-field coaching to sales team members.
- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent.
- Lead regular sales meetings, training programs, and professional development initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with dealers, customers, and industry partners.
- Ensure dealer compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
- Support dealer success through effective communication, education, and business planning.
- Promote collaboration and cross-selling opportunities across all SEEDWAY product lines.
- Coordinate field days, plot tours, customer education programs, trade events, and promotional activities.
- Partner with Marketing to develop impactful campaigns, promotional materials, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Support alliance partners and strengthen brand awareness throughout the region.
- Identify and target progressive growers and customers to accelerate business growth.
- Collaborate with operations and location leadership to effectively manage inventory and company assets.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning efforts, including sales volume, margin, and expense projections.
- Ensure adherence to company credit, safety, and operational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of successful sales, marketing, or business leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive revenue growth, and build long-term customer relationships.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated success in strategic planning, sales management, and market development.
- Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of agricultural products, seed sales, agronomy, or related industries.
- Familiarity with GROWMARK agronomy products and services.
- Professional certifications relevant to the agronomy or agricultural industry.
