Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business within assigned territories.
- Build a strong pipeline through outreach, networking, events, and CRM activity.
- Develop relationships with engineering and consulting firms that influence tank and silo projects.
- Conduct account reviews, site visits, and customer meetings to strengthen partnerships.
- Deliver presentations, proposals, and project solutions aligned with CST’s goals.
- Collaborate across internal teams to ensure accuracy and project success.
- Maintain CRM records, forecasting, and follow-up activities.
- Support rep and direct sales channels with training and joint visits.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of outside sales or account management experience (industrial, construction, manufacturing, or engineered solutions preferred).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read drawings, specs, and basic engineering plans.
- Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Ability to travel 50-70% within assigned territory.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently with strong follow-through.
- Solid understanding of margins, pricing, and basic math used in proposals.
