Primary Activities/Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to guide sales strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to align offerings with market demand.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Drive regional engagement with the Vertical Market Team’s strategy by translating national priorities into actionable regional plans, coordinating field activities, and aligning reps and distributors to targeted accounts and applications.
- Support major OEM, EU, and distribution engagements where multi-touch coordination is required, ensuring momentum without needing Regional VP escalation.
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Develop relationships with complementary technology partners (Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, Phoenix Contact, etc.) to further reach into new accounts.
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze market trends and use data to inform strategic decisions.
