About the role
SGA Dental Partners is growing and seeks an experienced Regional Operations Director to lead their specialty region in the Southeast. The role is hybrid/remote, requiring frequent travel for in-person leadership engagement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a liaison relationship with the corporate office through meetings and communications.
- Drive change by fostering trust-based partnerships with providers, clinical leadership, and office managers to lead change, adopt best practices, and implement new initiatives.
- Ensure prompt corrective action is taken with focus on cost, safety, and patient care.
- Oversee design and construction of new units and unit expansions/renovations.
- Oversee the transition process of new acquisitions within or outside the division or region.
- Develop and maintain open lines of communication with administrators and staff through meetings or written memos.
- Field engagement, maintain strong presence, and build meaningful relationships with practices.
- Understand and follow SGA Dental Partners’ policies and procedures.
- Manage financial aspects, formulate regional budgets, and ensure compliance with financial standards.
- Oversee risk management, quality assurance compliance, and patient care management.
- Manage teammates, including hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, salary increases, and disciplinary actions.
Requirements
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Demonstrable experience creating strategic plans, managing priorities, and adapting to changing priorities.
- Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant field is required, an advanced degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of multi-unit healthcare experience or consulting background.
