This role is a unique hybrid, functioning in a dual capacity as both the operational leader (ROD) and the clinical leader (MCS) for the region. The Regional Operations Director (Clinical Services) RN provides leadership and operational oversight for multiple acute programs within designated hospital service areas throughout Western Virginia, West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky to Cincinnati and Lexington. This position ensures excellence in patient care, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and team engagement. Relocation eligibility is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and technical services for patient treatment.
• Conduct trend analysis of clinical outcomes and independently develop and implement plans of correction for any clinical quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations governing patient care services (HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, etc.).
• Manage regional P&L, budget forecasting, and inventory to optimize financial performance and strategic growth.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to facility administrators and clinical teams. Direct all teammate activity including hiring, promoting, performance development reviews (PDRs), and disciplinary actions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work culture aligned with DaVita's Core Values.
• Foster strong strategic relationships with nephrologists, medical directors, and hospital partners.
• Ensure comprehensive modality education and exceptional patient care experiences.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment is REQUIRED.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare management experience preferred; multi-facility dialysis management experience strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in DaVita clinical applications (CWOW, etc.).
• Two years of Dialysis experience required.
• Moderate travel as needed for hospital site support and audits throughout Western Virginia, West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky to Cincinnati and Lexington.
• Fluent in written and verbal communication necessary to perform essential duties.
• Vision adequate for performing job duties; ability to distinguish colors when necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform standing, walking, stretching, and keyboarding tasks.

Pay

The Salary Range for the role is $115,000.00 - $183,000.00/year. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Below are location-specific minimum wage details:

• New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year.
• New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour.
• Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year.
• Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour.
