This role serves as a strategic business partner to a cluster of schools, ensuring the effective delivery of seamless HR guidance and support aligned with local cultural and legal contexts. Reporting to the Regional Head of HR Business Partnering, the HR Business Partner develops and delivers a people plan that aligns with ISP’s School of Choice, global people strategy, and local priorities, driving business goals and supporting school leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Regional Head of HR Business Partnering and school leaders to ensure HR activities support regional growth and operational priorities.
  • Provide insights on performance, talent management, skills gaps, and development needs to inform workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational design.
  • Leverage Workday to track key HR metrics (e.g., employee turnover, engagement, cost per hire, training hours) and transform data into actionable insights.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Drive high proficiency in HR systems, processes, and data-driven ways of working, promoting engagement with Workday across the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with local employment laws and ISP Group policies, updating them to reflect legislative changes and best practices.
  • Uphold safer recruitment standards aligned with ISP guidelines, fostering a fair, transparent, and positive candidate experience.
  • Drive best practices in performance management, focusing on goal-setting, continuous feedback, and employee development.
  • Collaborate with regional HR and Learning & Innovation teams to implement core learning and development programs aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure recognition and celebration of learning and performance impact, staying informed on market salaries and reward practices.
  • Play a key role in regional talent review and succession planning, identifying and developing top talent in line with ISP’s global approach.
  • Leverage Workday Talent Optimisation to inform talent decisions, enabling internal mobility and maintaining a regretted loss rate under 5%.
  • Design and execute tailored development initiatives, ensuring high-performing employees have bespoke development plans documented in Workday.
  • Champion employee engagement by leading survey feedback discussions, facilitating action planning, and promoting local initiatives.
  • Promote ISP’s employer brand and purpose, creating initiatives to improve employee experience and wellbeing.
  • Foster a culture of belonging by embedding ISP’s DEIB commitment across schools.
  • Support new school onboarding, organisational change, and transformation initiatives while preserving ISP’s employee experience and culture.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in Human Resources supporting a diverse client base.
  • Proficiency in Workday.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to visit schools and attend regional meetings.

Pay

The anticipated minimum starting salary is $100,000. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
