We are seeking a Regional HR Generalist in Tampa, FL to provide regional support to corporate Human Resources by assisting with day-to-day operations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare new hire paperwork for submission to corporate and ensure project admins verify documentation for submittal and E-Verify verification.
  • Train project administrators on handling employee new hire paperwork, payroll preparation and submission, insurance applications, and CDL driver requirements. Assist with any questions regarding employee paperwork.
  • Coordinate weekly payroll submission, ensuring all projects submit time and informing corporate payroll of hours submitted.
  • Train CDL drivers on paperwork requirements by traveling to jobsites to conduct training classes. Coordinate with jobsites to ensure compliance and document submittal.
  • Participate in and help coordinate the annual admin training class, including preparing the agenda and coordinating the event.
  • Collect mileage for all regional vehicles and maintain the regional equipment module. Ensure registrations and tags for regional vehicles are current and updated.
  • Answer regional employees' questions regarding payroll and insurance, and direct employees to the correct department for garnishment or 401(k) inquiries.
  • Coordinate with the regional recruiter for annual recruiting fairs at colleges and career fairs, including preparing supplies and attending events as necessary.
  • Assist regional employees with travel arrangements in Concur, including finding available hotels in areas where we do business.

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Experience with in-house programs such as PCTime, CMiC, and Apextender.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to sit and use a computer for long periods, often while using the phone.
  • Ability to transport up to 20 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel to all jobsites regularly (at least twice a year) and to Chicago for HR meetings as necessary.
