Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned regions, responding to employee and manager questions and providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, and related documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records in UKG, including data updates, workflow processing, approvals, and documentation accuracy
- Administer and support employee benefits processes, including employee questions, enrollment support, life event changes, and coordination with vendors as needed
- Afford assistance with employee relations matters by supporting investigations, coaching conversations, performance documentation, corrective action, and conflict resolution efforts
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by maintaining required records, supporting audits, preparing reports, and following internal HR policies and procedures
- Partners with leaders to support employee engagement, retention efforts, organizational communication, and other people-related initiatives
- Perform other HR related duties and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of HR Generalist experience required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting multi-state HR operations preferred
- Experience with UKG HRIS strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- High level of empathy, integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality
