Regional Field Service Manager
About the Role
Join Emerson and make an impact as a Regional Field Services Manager, leading the North America Measurement Solutions field service team based remotely in the Gulf Coast region. In this role, you’ll support and guide a team of field service technicians to deliver high-quality measurement solutions safely, on time, and with excellence.
Responsibilities
- Champion Emerson's Environmental, Health, and Safety philosophy to ensure a safe working environment for your team. Ensure direct reports are fully trained and follow all safety and compliance policies, procedures, and practices.
- Ensure field technicians are trained, certified, and maintain technical proficiencies to match the local market.
- Develop and implement business plans to grow service offerings and capacity, aligning with the overall Measurement Solutions business and financial plan.
- Oversee the Talent Management process in the region, including talent acquisition, employee development, recognition, and supporting inclusion efforts.
- Manage daily operations for a team of field service personnel, including dispatch schedules, work assignments, and clear communication on business conditions, goals, and trends. Coordinate with other regional leaders and managers.
- Work closely with the Emerson Sales Channel and Impact Partner network to drive improvements and explore new business opportunities, including supporting contract negotiations.
- Drive quality and continuous improvement in the execution of field services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Control, Computer Engineering, or Engineering Management; equivalent experience considered).
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or guiding employees.
- Willing and able to travel domestically up to 25-40%.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in service leadership, with a focus on leading technical field personnel within large, matrixed organizations.
- Technical proficiency in lifecycle services, including knowledge of competitor offerings and market positioning.
- Knowledge of the automation industry, including instrumentation and control.
- Experience with Emerson or Impact Partner products is a plus.
