About the role
The Regional Director of Trust and Advisory Services is a senior leader responsible for executing the growth, performance, and client engagement strategy for the Personal Trust advisory business within an assigned region. This role leads teams of Trust Relationship Managers, Trust Officers, and Wealth Advisors, with accountability for revenue growth, client retention, and relationship expansion across local markets.
Responsibilities
- Own regional performance with accountability for revenue growth, client retention, and relationship expansion within assigned markets
- Execute business strategies, sales management routines, and performance expectations established by senior leadership
- Maintain and actively manage a portfolio of client relationships, delivering trust, advisory, and financial planning solutions
- Lead and develop teams of trust and advisory professionals, providing coaching, direction, and performance management
- Partner with private banking, investment management, wealth planning, and fiduciary teams to deliver coordinated client solutions
- Ensure alignment between advisory, sales, and support teams to enhance client experience and drive growth
- Translate business strategy into disciplined execution, reinforce sales and relationship management practices, and drive consistent performance across teams
- Engage in the market to strengthen client and referral partner relationships, while developing talent and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and risk expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Finance, Accounting or related fields
- 12+ years progressive experience in trust, wealth management, private banking, fiduciary services, or related advisory businesses, including experience in business development and client relationship management
- 10+ years demonstrated success leading teams and driving performance across defined markets or client segments
- 10+ years strong client relationship and business development skills, with ability to engage centers of influence and referral partners
Qualifications
- Preferred certifications: CTFA-Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, CFP-Certified Financial Planner
