Position Summary
The Regional Director of Resident Care (RN) provides guidance to the Clinical Department. Responsibilities include supporting consistent, safe, and effective nursing practice in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards. This role advises by supporting the aspects and principles of a person-centered approach to care delivery with guidance through leadership, education, quality improvement, and risk management. The position directly reports to the Management Company Divisional Vice President of Resident Care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing, licensed by the state
- Bachelor-level healthcare degree preferred
- 3+ years senior living experience in a leadership role
- BLS Certification
- Experience in multi-state and multi-community support required
- Knowledge of clinical practice and operational procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in assisted living and memory care settings
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new applications
- Competencies: Must demonstrate an interest in working with an ageing adult population
Supervisory Responsibilities
Serves as a champion of company culture. Provides guidance to the community Executive Directors, Administrators, and Directors of Health and Wellness. Supports other team members to assure delivery of consistently high-quality person-centered care to residents. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities with consistent, safe, and effective nursing practice in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
