Regional Director of Operations
About the role
The Operations Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for a multi-site physician practice organization, overseeing daily operations, financial performance, workforce management, regulatory compliance, and patient experience while driving operational excellence across all locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, financial performance, workforce management, regulatory compliance, and patient experience
- Lead, mentor, and develop practice administrators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
- Direct financial operations, including budget development, revenue and expense management, forecasting, inventory oversight, business planning, and pro forma development
- Monitor and analyze operational, financial, and clinical performance metrics, leading action planning, performance meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner to optimize provider onboarding, practice operations, expansion planning, and strategic growth initiatives
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
- Champion an exceptional patient and employee experience by strengthening customer service, resolving operational challenges, building collaborative relationships across departments, and promoting a culture aligned with the organization's goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, healthcare administration, or related field
- At least five years of progressive healthcare experience
- Proven experience leading and managing teams
