Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performance, people-first culture aligned with company vision
- Mentor and coach department leaders, strengthening leadership bench and team capabilities
- Build strong, trust-based relationships across teams and functions
- Drive engagement, accountability, and alignment across the region
- Translate strategic vision into actionable plans and ensure effective execution at all levels
- Implement operational best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency
- Drive adoption of processes and systems that support scalable growth
- Monitor regional performance metrics and implement corrective actions where needed
- Own regional financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and utilization
- Hold leaders accountable to KPIs and budget expectations
- Partner with leadership on forecasting, planning, and performance improvement
- Support business development and expand client relationships in strategic sectors (e.g., data centers, power, water utilities, mining)
- Foster a culture of cross-selling across practice areas
- Contribute to regional business planning and execution of corporate initiatives
- People & Organizational Leadership
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance
- Partner with HR on talent development, workforce planning, and employee relations
- Lead change management efforts and build alignment across teams
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in the AEC industry, including leadership roles within a scaled organization (PE-backed experience preferred)
- Technical background in one or more relevant practice areas (environmental, water, infrastructure, etc.)
- Demonstrated success in operational leadership and scaling business performance
- Proven ability to operationalize strategy and drive execution through teams
- Strong business acumen, including financial and KPI management
- Established client relationships in one or more strategic market sectors
- Exceptional relationship builder with strong communication and leadership presence
- Positive, resilient mindset with the ability to lead through change
- Alignment with company leadership values and culture
