Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Registered Dietitian or Licensed Dietitian (Master’s degree preferred)
- Food Handler’s Permit
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with little or no supervision
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic understanding of normal and therapeutic diets and food safety
- Basic computer skills
- Experience working with a licensed dietician (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Interview residents and obtain food preferences to complete Resident Food Profile
- Update residents’ food preferences into the tray card database
- Refer residents to a Dietitian for any nutritional or eating issues
