REGIONAL Dietitian

About the role

NutraCo is a provider of Registered Dietitians for Long Term Care facilities across the United States. We offer full time and part time positions with placements available in many states.

Responsibilities

• Represent NutraCo's focus on providing compassionate care, with respect and dignity to patients.
• Take direction from the VP of Clinical Services and Regional Clinical Director.
• Provide leadership and direct supervision of all dietitians in the region.
• Work closely with members of facility corporate teams to ensure clinical accuracy of all dietitians at the facility and client satisfaction.
• Provide clinical nutrition services to residents in Long Term Care facilities within the designated region.
• Conduct nutritional assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other dietitians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on nutritional practices and dietary management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.
• Fill in for vacancies in dietitian staffing for your region.
• Travel to various facilities as needed.

Job Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• State licensure as required varies by state
• Long Term Care Experience
• Strong communication skills, effective teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
• Willingness to travel
