About the role
The Regional Development Director (Tri-State NYC Region) is responsible for driving growth and development initiatives within the designated area. This includes strategic planning, community engagement, and partnership building.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with broader organizational goals.
- Engage with local stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships and support community development projects.
- Manage and grow partnerships with key industry leaders and organizations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on regional objectives and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a similar organization.
- Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of regional economic development principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience in public-private partnerships and community development initiatives.
- Knowledge of local government processes and regulations.
