About the role
The Position is a Regional Business Manager- South Central - Near Patient Care role. The region covers Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The role requires living within the territory to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Manages the sale of Roche’s products or services to specific existing named or strategic accounts on a geographic basis.
- Achieves sales and financial targets in line with the company's strategic goals.
- Manages a staff of Account Executives and Strategic Account Executives, participating in the establishment of sales and financial goals for a given territory.
- Hires, terminates, and implements disciplinary decisions affecting employees.
- Communicates sales performance in the territory to sales leadership and cooperates with Marketing to implement promotional strategies and monitor competitor activities.
- Assists Senior Leadership in overall operations of assigned departments.
- Manages the department's budget and all assigned resources.
- Directs and implements tactical plans.
- Manages subordinates (professional and support staff).

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3+ years relevant sales or equivalent experience with demonstrated success.
- 1-2 years management or equivalent leadership experience with demonstrated strong competency and proven track record in sales management and leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations.
- Strategic planning and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to routinely engage in short notice, overnight travel.
- Negotiation, contracting, and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of sales proficiency and/or industry-specific experience.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role. Pay
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Texas is $139,400-259,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
