Regional Business Manager/Mountain Region

Responsibilities

• Create, present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Possess the ability to prospect and contact potential customers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Conduct Product Knowledge sessions in the field
• Participate in trade shows
• Survey distributors, wholesalers, retailers, drywall supply houses, and the occasional job site
• Gauge and report fire retardant treated wood volume and market share
• Promote HTWP’s products using Design and Construction Guide on sales calls
• Common uses Technical information
• Promote Hoover stocking Distributors to Retailers in all markets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of outside sales success is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of commodity lumber and plywood markets
• Building product channel sales and lumber or plywood sales experience is preferred
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong computer skills
• Must possess the technical acumen to convey the varied product and service benefits that define the HTWP brand
• Demonstrated critical analysis skills
• Deadline & detail oriented
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated and success driven

Requirements

• Willingness to travel (overnight) extensively across the state of Florida
• Self-driven and able to work remotely
