Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts within semiconductor OEMs, fabs, subcontractors, and related manufacturers.
- Develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
- Prepare and deliver quotes, negotiate pricing within approved margins, and close sales.
- Maintain strong relationships with purchasing agents, engineers, supply chain managers, and operations leaders.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across product lines.
- Order & Pipeline Management
- Process customer orders accurately and ensure on-time delivery.
- Cook with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to confirm availability and lead times.
- Track open orders, resolve delivery issues, and manage backorders.
- Maintain CRM system with accurate account, opportunity, and forecasting data.
- Support demand forecasting and inventory planning with sales insights.
- Technical & Product Support
- Develop working knowledge of distributed products (components, materials, MRO, capital equipment, etc.).
- Aid customers with product selection and specification alignment.
- Cook with suppliers or manufacturers for technical documentation and special requirements.
- Stay current on semiconductor industry trends and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales or semiconductor business or planning experience (distribution experience preferred).
- Experience selling in manufacturing, industrial, electronics, or semiconductor-related markets is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sales process, quoting, and margin management.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and ERP(SAP)/order management platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with semiconductor supply chains (fabs, OEM tool manufacturers, contract manufacturers, etc.).
- Technical aptitude or background in engineering, electronics, or industrial products.
- Knowledge of inventory-driven distribution models.
- Experience with long sales cycles and technical buying groups.
- Extensive SAP experience (>4+ years in buying/purchasing/order management).
