Responsibilities

  • Develops and coordinates operational and commercial aggregates plans throughout the region.
  • Develops, implements, tracks, and coordinates key performance indicators throughout the region for aggregates sales and operations.
  • Supports and promotes key corporate safety, operational, and commercial goals throughout the region.
  • Works with regional leadership to support customer focus, quality standards, and margin expansion through dynamic pricing.
  • Engages in corporate strategic integration of growth opportunities within the region.
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with major vendors and coordinates vendor alignment throughout the region.
  • Provides leadership and vision to foster employee growth and retention.
  • Able to travel on short notice and for extended periods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mining, construction, engineering or related field with seven years of progressively responsible management experience in a construction materials setting.
  • Experience working and managing aggregate production facilities.
  • Proficient knowledge in computer skills and computer software relative to construction materials industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, lead, and mentor others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including making presentations.

Preferred Requirements

  • Advanced degree in mining, construction, engineering or related field with ten years experience in a construction materials setting.
  • Significant knowledge of construction materials operations with strong emphasis on math and analytical skills.

Wage Starting: $140,000

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and software.
  • Able to work independently and under time constraints.
