Regio Dispatcher

What brings you to this role?

As a Region Dispatcher, you determine the priority of incoming requests and make a plan based on what needs to be executed and known tasks. Using the available information, you take action, considering various factors such as intervention time, urgency, cost, type of vehicle, and route planning. You maintain close contact with other departments that can provide necessary information and with the customer. You ensure that dispatching activities are handled correctly administratively. What do you bring to the table? You think problem-solving and efficient. You create satisfied customers through your proactive attitude. You are resilient under pressure. You are analytical and can quickly synthesize where the problem lies, the urgency of each call, and the best solution. You are assertive and remain accurate and structured under pressure. You are a team player and have a positive drive. You speak fluent Dutch, French, and English. You are open to further developing your skills. You possess sufficient computer skills to easily learn new programs. You have basic knowledge of automotive technology or are willing to undergo a short training. The Belgian road network is not foreign to you.

Important Information Our office is located in Zwijndrecht, next to the E17. It is also easily accessible by public transportation. The train station is 500 meters from the office, and a tram stop (tram 3) is 1.5 kilometers away. Cycling is also an option. There is a covered bike parking area, and showers are provided. VAB is the largest mobility organization in the country.
