REGIISTERED NURSE-ADMIT/DISCHARGE-PRN

About the role

This PRN position in the Float Pool serves as an Admit/Discharge Nurse across varied units at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, a 229‑bed acute care hospital in Enid, OK. The nurse completes admissions and discharges on units including ER, Birthplace, Rehab, Med Surg, Same Day Surgery, ICU, PCCU, Behavioral Health, OR, and Cardiac Cath. The role is called off or placed on‑call as unit census allows. St. Mary’s has served northwest Oklahoma for over 100 years and hosts more than 125 physicians across specialties such as Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, Laboratory, Women’s Imaging, and Wound Care.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient admissions and discharges across multiple nursing units.
• Float to assigned units as needed based on census; may be called off or placed on‑call.
• Deliver exceptional, quality care while operating under high safety standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma (required).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification (required).
• ALS and PALS certifications required within 3 months of employment.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Prior nursing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
