Refrigerant Pipe Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time HVAC mechanic with experience installing equipment, running refrigerant piping, and installing controls.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment such as split systems DX units, Package AC units, ductless mini splits, and other common commercial HVAC equipment.
• Install refrigerant piping with accessories based on engineer’s schematics and equipment schedule details.
• Read control schematics and install basic controls such as thermostats, humidistats, CO2 sensors, relays, and motorized dampers.
• Solve problems with common HVAC equipment.
• Experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience
• Able to read blueprints and follow instructions
• Able to work 40 hours every week and overtime as needed
• Able to install HVAC equipment such as split systems DX units, Package AC units, ductless mini splits, and other common commercial HVAC equipment
• Able to read control schematics and install basic controls such as thermostats, humidistats, CO2 sensors, relays, and motorized dampers
• Able to solve problems with common HVAC equipment
• Experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems is a plus
