Responsibilities
- Install equipment, run refrigerant piping, install controls, and perform startup.
- Work on various HVAC equipment such as split systems DX units, Package AC units, ductless mini splits, and other common commercial HVAC equipment.
- Install refrigerant piping with accessories based on engineer’s schematics and equipment schedule details.
- Read control schematics and install basic controls like thermostats, humidistats, CO2 sensors, relays, and motorized dampers.
- Solve problems with common HVAC equipment, especially with experience in Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience
- Able to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Able to work 40 hours every week and overtime as needed
- Able to provide reliable transportation
- Able to install HVAC equipment such as split systems DX units, Package AC units, ductless mini splits, and other common commercial HVAC equipment
- Able to install refrigerant piping with accessories based on engineer’s schematics and equipment schedule details
- Able to read control schematics and install basic controls such as thermostats, humidistats, CO2 sensors, relays, and motorized dampers
- Able to solve problems with common HVAC equipment
- Experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems is a plus
Other Requirements
- Punctual and regular attendance
- Able to work within a team and interact with people
- Able to accurately read a ruler or tape measure
- Able to travel to job sites and occasionally have overnight stays
- Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Able to pass a background check and drug test in accordance to our Company Substance Abuse Policy
- Able to pass a pre-employment fitness test
