Commercial Refrigeration Installer

About the role

Carlson & Stewart Refrigeration is a design-build contractor specializing in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems across the Upper Midwest. We provide 24/7 service and preventative maintenance to support the long-term performance of our clients' systems. Responsibilities

• Install refrigeration systems including piping, brazing, and insulating.
• Set up walk-in coolers, freezers, and refrigerated display cases.
• Install commercial food service equipment.
• Aid in system startups and troubleshooting.
• Support journeymen and team members as assigned.
• Perform general construction and related duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure and solve problems on-site.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel; typical work week is 4 days.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in various weather and food facility conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Capable of operating tools, machinery, and jobsite equipment.
