Referral Coordinator, Total Access Program

Responsibilities

• Work directly with patients, physicians, and physician teams to obtain authorizations and referrals for various medical services.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all referrals and authorizations in relevant systems.
• Timely escalation of financial clearance issues to supervisors.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures related to eligibility, benefits, and prior authorization requirements.
• Possess knowledge of oncology-related services and treatments.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or higher)

Qualifications

• Experience in obtaining diagnostic/imaging appointments (CTs, MRIs, PETs, etc.)
• Knowledge of oncology-related services and treatments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with mandatory overtime
• Strong communication skills
