Referral Coordinator
Job Summary
The Referral Coordinator will provide support to all Methodist Medical Group (MMG) clinics, referral department management, staff, and ongoing referral network development strategies. The Referral Coordinator will serve as a reserve point of contact into the Methodist Medical Group clinics as it relates to incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and follow up calls related to coordination of care.
Job Purpose
This position will serve as a liaison between the referral departments, MMG clinical practices, and associated medical neighborhoods.
Job Requirements
Education: High School Graduation or GED Associate’s Degree or higher, preferred
Licenses and/or Certifications: Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent, preferred
Work Experience: 5 or more years of professional medical experience in a practice setting, preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
Related Work Experience and Other Skills: Strong EMR/HER and Microsoft Office experience, preferred
