Referral Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a Referral Coordinator to join our team in the Mesquite area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service excellence and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities
- Maintain ongoing tracking and appropriate documentation on referrals to promote team awareness and ensure patient safety
- Update providers on issues or concerns regarding referrals and communicate directly with patients and providers
- Works with insurance companies and care providers to share essential patient information and assists primarily in scheduling appointments and managing health insurance issues
- Communicate with patients to complete referral process
- Track outgoing referrals by urgency and requested timeline
- Share expertise and best practices to help us become the provider of choice
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Referral Coordinator or similar in a healthcare setting
- Experience in community health centers and/or non-profits is preferred
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a high volume environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to serve multicultural and multilingual patient populations
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar and MS Office Suite skills
- Bilingual in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese, Rohingya or any other languages
