The West Shore School District is seeking Full-time Paraprofessional positions at Red Land High School.

About the role

• Personal Care Paraprofessional (Multiple Disabilities/Autism Support): 7 hours per day
• Special Education Paraprofessional (Learning Support): 6.5 hours per day
• Special Education Paraprofessional (Non-Paid Work Experience for Student, Staff is Paid): 7 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities
• Participate in lesson planning and implementation
• Provide behavioral support
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff

Requirements

• Credential of Competency for Special Education Paraeducators in Pennsylvania
• Completion of relevant coursework and training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of special education curriculum and teaching methods
• Ability to manage behavior and provide behavioral support
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
