RECRUITMENT OF RPCL Managing Director

About the role

The Managing Director will lead the strategic direction of RPCL, overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and driving the company’s mission to promote sustainable energy solutions in the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of RPCL, ensuring efficient management and service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the operational efficiency and profitability of RPCL.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to the power sector.
• Represent RPCL in various forums and negotiations with stakeholders, including government bodies and international partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local communities, governments, and industry partners.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in the power sector, preferably in leadership roles.
• A proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
• Experience in managing complex projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and environmental policies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English and knowledge of at least one local language.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in project management or similar fields are advantageous.
