Recruitment Coordinator
About the role
This assignment is anticipated to be a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first-shift Monday–Friday schedule. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Greensboro, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams to understand hiring priorities and support recruiting activities.
- Open, update, and maintain job requisitions within the applicant tracking system once approvals are received.
- Carefully coordinate job postings and ensure requisition details are accurate and up to date.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars between candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams.
- Arrange travel and logistics for candidates as needed.
- Facilitate pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, and related onboarding requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate offer documentation and distribute new hire paperwork following approval.
- Provide new hires with onboarding guidance, orientation details, and first-day instructions.
- Maintain recruiting records and documentation while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate recruiting reports and support ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional follow-up.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition support, HR administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting or corporate hiring processes preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide a positive candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of employment practices and recruiting processes.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems or HR systems.
- Experience with SuccessFactors is preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating onboarding activities for new hires.
- Experience supporting background screening and pre-employment processes.
- Previous experience in a corporate HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition environment.
Skills
