Recruiting Manager

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and deepen partnerships with senior finance leaders, including CFOs, controllers, and other decision‑makers across the market.
• Identify, engage, and attract accounting and finance talent by building a strong pipeline of experienced candidates.
• Oversee the entire search lifecycle, from intake conversations and role calibration through offer management and successful placement.
• Expand business opportunities by developing new client relationships and increasing engagement with current accounts.
• Advise both employers and candidates throughout the hiring process, providing market insight and strategic guidance.
• Strengthen the firm’s visibility by networking within the local business, accounting, and finance community.
• Support team success by offering mentorship, direction, and day‑to‑day leadership within the practice.
• Track recruiting activity and manage candidate workflows effectively through applicant tracking systems and related tools.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting and finance roles and career paths.
• Experience in accounting, finance, recruiting, professional services, or a related field.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Previous leadership or management experience is a plus.
• Strong business development and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competitive, self‑motivated, and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
• Ability to develop credibility with senior‑level finance executives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing and leading a business.

Pay

Base salary is approximately $75,000–$80,000 plus bonus. The role includes commission with no cap on earnings, so total compensation can exceed $100k, $200k, $300k, $500k, or more, depending on performance.
