About the role
Seeking an experienced and strategic Recruiting Manager to lead talent acquisition initiatives supporting operations, manufacturing, maintenance, technical, and professional hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing recruiting team.
- Establish recruiting goals, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to align talent acquisition strategies with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with operational managers to identify current and future workforce needs.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for operations, maintenance, skilled trades, engineering, technical, and professional positions.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
- Develop relationships with recruiting agencies, workforce development organizations, military transition programs, trade schools, and apprenticeship programs.
- Represent the company at career fairs, community events, hiring events, and industry conferences.
- Strengthen employer branding efforts to attract top talent and promote career opportunities.
- Analyze recruiting data and hiring trends, including: Time-to-fill, Source effectiveness, Candidate pipeline health, Quality of hire, Retention metrics, Hiring volume performance.
- Deliver regular recruiting performance reports and workforce insights to leadership.
- Enhance recruiting processes, systems, and programs to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Support long-term workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Experience recruiting in manufacturing, mining, industrial, energy, construction, or similar operational environments.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for skilled trades, maintenance, operations, engineering, and technical positions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience utilizing recruiting metrics and workforce data to drive hiring decisions.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build partnerships across all organizational levels.
PREFERRED
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Knowledge of labor market trends impacting industrial and skilled-trade recruiting.
- Experience managing high-volume recruiting programs.
- Experience building partnerships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, military transition organizations, and workforce development agencies.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience developing recruiting dashboards and performance reports.
